About

DECA Incubator is an event that sparks entrepreneurship in students from the Bay Area. Presenting new and innovative products to judges, participants compete for prizes and other incentives. Lynbrook DECA primarily hosts this, making this competition similar to that of DECA conferences. We strive to create a welcoming environment for all entrepreneurs that have an idea they want to pitch. Creations can range from a new app, to a new toothbrush, and all will be accepted through Incubator.

Using business professionals as judges helps this competition stand out, as all ideas will be graded on a fair rubric. With renowned guest speakers from prominent companies, free snacks, and much more, DECA Incubator will truly be a lively event!     Event starts.

    Meet the contestants! During this time, the audience is encouraged to walk around and meet the contestants and hear about their product. Feel free to network!

  • 4:45 PM

    Speakers and Finalists Present

    Our judges will pick the top contestants and ask them to present in front of the whole audience. In addition, our guest speakers will share their journey and entrepreneurial experience.

  • 6:15 PM

    Q and A

    Ask the speakers and finalists any clarifying questions!

  • 6:25 PM

    Awards

    Based on the judges scores, finalists will be presented with their winnings.

The event will take place on 5/12/17 at 3:30PM to 6:30PM in the Lynbrook Library at Lynbrook High School!
